Standard BUZZcard: A BUZZcard can vary in duration. Typically commercial television & radio formats apply i.e. 30 second, 60 second, 90 second or 2 minute duration presentations. A standard BUZZcard is 30 seconds in duration. To calculate the additional costs to produce presentations of different length, simply add $100 for every 10 seconds above 30 seconds. For example, a 45 second presentation is $150 on top of the standard fee.

Professional Script: A copywriter or trained marketing consultant prepares a written script as part of the BUZZcard production process. Typically the writer will interview or engage in a phone conversation with the client. A standard BUZZcard requires 5 concepts or key ideas that can be communicated. We require the input of the client to identify the marketing message to be communicated, and allow 1 initial briefing session (up to 30 minutes in duration) and one round of changes. Additional reworks and author’s corrections may incur an extra fee. As a guide the hourly rate for our copywriting service is $100/hr +gst.
Professional Voice Recording: BUZZcard uses professional voice talent throughout the world. As part of the production process you will receive a selection of at least 3 voices from which you can choose. The samples will demonstrate the voice artist’s capability, not your specific message (script). Should you require auditions (i.e. the voice artist records your script as a demo) an additional fee will apply. BUZZcard cannot guarantee the quality or suitability of dialects or regional accents. Whenever possible we will endeavour to assist with matching the right artist with your project.
Client: For the purposes of these terms & conditions, a Client is the person representing the company or individual. They have full authority to make decisions, approve work and arrange payment for work either commissioned or completed. It is the client’s responsibility to advise their BUZZcard representative if their role or level of authority to commission work has changed, or diminished for any reason.
Music: A standard BUZZcard is produced with royalty-free music. We reserve the right to use music tracks as required and no exclusivity for a music selection can be guaranteed or assumed. Should you wish to use a specific song or music track; you are responsible for any copyright licence fees.
As part of the production process you will receive a selection of at least 3 music tracks from which you can choose. The samples will give a strong indication of what the final presentation will include but cannot accurately simulate the effect created by laying the voice track over the top of the music, or the looping effect (joining the music track multiple times to extend the music to the length of your presentation). A standard BUZZcard includes up to 6 music selections, with the facility to clarify what it is you want from the music track. In the event that you are unhappy with the selections offered we will present you with online royalty free music stores so you may perform a deeper search or there may be an additional fee for our designer to continue to offer more music selections.
Animation: A standard BUZZcard often includes some simple computer animation. These simple special effects are created in Adobe Flash to our specifications. If it is the clients request to produce a custom animation, additional costs may apply and the time to completion of the BUZZcard may be extended.
Imagery – Photos & Videos: A standard BUZZcard requires the client to supply imagery; this can be photography or video footage (contact us for the preferred format & quality). To enhance the imagery supplied by the client a standard BUZZcard includes an allowance of up to $100 of image library material. Images purchased by BUZZcard on behalf of the client remain the property of BUZZcard unless other arrangements are negotiated.
Branding Shell: A standard BUZZcard includes the creation of an animated introduction and close (often a call-to-action). This is produced as a separate process to the core message, and is typically a one-off cost as the branding shell is designed to be re-usable. The production process to create a branding shell is very specialised and requires a high quality copy of the logo, and clear guidance on any corporate colours, fonts or rules associated with the use of the brand/logo. A standard BUZZcard Branding Shell includes a simple animation to compliment the logo. Often the designer includes an “overlay” design (during the main presentation your logo may appear and the overlay determines how the brand is reproduced, along with any on-screen text). Finally there is the closing segment of the BUZZcard which is designed with a single message. Although it is very possible to create multiple endings to a BUZZcard, the production cost will need to be quoted separately.
We allow up to one hour of design time to create the branding shell, and one additional round of changes to the design. Should additional reworks be required the hourly rate is $125/hr+gst.
A BUZZcard is custom designed to your business message and brand. 90% of the work required to create the presentation is carried out prior to the completion of the finished product. Consequently, our standard terms are payment upfront. Throughout the production process we ask for your input and approval. You will be involved every step of the way.
In the event that you are unhappy with the BUZZcard we will endeavour to continue to rework the design elements until a satisfactory outcome or compromise is reached. BUZZcard Ltd will not refund due to a clients’ change of direction, message or branding.
The creation of a BUZZcard requires the input of the client. Whenever possible you will be advised of how long each stage may take, depending on production workload, the availability of talent (voice artists, illustrators, photographers etc) and the complexity of the task. As a guide, most BUZZcards take 1-2 weeks to produce with materials promptly supplied by the client when requested.
BUZZcard Pty Limited is responsible for the creation of the BUZZcard Presentation. BUZZcard Pty Limited is not responsible for adding the presentation to your website (unless prior arrangements have been made) but will supply industry standard formats (eg MOV file for YouTube). BUZZcard cannot guarantee the quality of service via YouTube or other video hosting services. BUZZcard may offer business level hosting subject to additional fees, terms & conditions.
